Another year's passed. Somehow, looking back at a year's worth of posts, it isn't hard to see how much one has progressed. Or rather, it isn't hard to see how stupid the first few posts were.

Every year, regardless of the age, it isn't easy to look back and feel good about oneself. An example may be of use here;
Take dickson for example. Is it any wonder that he moves the url of his blog on a regular basis, or deletes it entirely? Attempting to rid oneself of the accumelated shame of numerous misguided posts is a futile task, and running from it doesn't change a thing.

Having deleted the majority of posts made over the previous months, it really hasn't made a difference; it won't change the fact that when I look back on this the year after, it'll still appear as stupid as the previous year's to me.

Remembering the things that we say and/or do, and the rational behind it, that; is the only growth that matters. As the year closes in 12 months, and this entry is inevitably cleared away yet again, the fact that the post will appear stupid in 12 months time, is all the proof in the world that one would have changed for the better.
